Actually, we only wanted to visit Karina’s family in Argentina, but my partner organised an exhibition for us in Quilmes, a city in the greater Buenos Aires area. A friend of Karina’s from university runs a cultural centre there and gave us the opportunity to show our work there. Karina presented her photo series „Village Flea Markets in Northern Germany“ and I presented my slide collages from the series „German Landscapes Revisited“. My new friend Pablo Gomez played jazz standards on the guitar. Many friends and family came, a successful evening in which we sat and celebrated together for a long time…
